66 participants of SFI Manufacturing were gathered in Trondheim on October 21st and 22nd. It was a successful first SFI workshop.
Topics during the workshop were: The board meeting, general assembly, workshops, site visit to Sandvik Teeness, status report from the center administration, input to work plans for the research areas, a look into industry 4.0 and 'SFI Manufacturing through the glasses of a metallurgist'.
We would like to thank all participants from the industrial partners and R&D institutions, the guest lecturers Axel Demmer and Øystein Grong and Peder Arvidsson, Håvard Buhaug and Knut Stokland at Sandvik Teeness for their great contributions!
